Whether you're brand new to yoga or returning after time away, this 4-week Iyengar-based series is designed to help you build strength, awareness, and confidence from the ground up. Align & Explore introduces you to the foundational principles of alignment and shows you how to work with yoga poses in a way that supports your body - exactly as it is.
Each week, we’ll focus on a different category of poses (standing, forward folds, backbends, and restorative work for emotional balance), with targeted attention to key areas of the body, including knees, hips, lower back, shoulders, and neck.
Through clear instruction, simple modifications, and longer holds, you’ll learn how to:
✔ Practice with more physical awareness and less strain
✔ Modify poses for common challenges like knee or back pain, shoulder tension, tight hips, or menstruation
✔ Avoid injury and protect your joints
✔ Access the deeper physical and mental benefits of the practice
This is not a gentle or flow-style class, but it will be accessible. We'll move at a thoughtful pace, making space for learning, refining, and exploring poses in a way that prioritizes awareness over intensity.
