FAQ

  • Where Are You Located?

We are located at 201 N Summer St in Adams, MA - the big brick building next to The Flower Gallery. Look for our welcoming space inside!

  • Where Do I Park?

Street parking is free and available near the building. Please allow yourself a few extra minutes to find a spot and settle in before class.

  • What Should I Wear?

Dress comfortably in clothing that allows you to move freely. Layers are recommended, as your body temperature may rise during movement and cool down toward the end of class or in restorative postures.

  • Can I Eat Before Yoga?

We recommend avoiding heavy meals right before class. If you need to eat, opt for a light snack (such as fruit or nuts) at least 30–60 minutes before practice. For a full meal, wait at least two hours to ensure comfortable digestion.

  • What Should I Bring?

We provide mats and props, but if you have your own mat, feel free to bring it! Many students also bring water, especially for more active classes like Power Flow.

  • What If I Am Not Flexible?

Yoga can improve your flexibility and you can start at any level. We provide props such as blocks, straps, blankets & bolsters you can use to support your practice. Our teachers are trained in cue-ing for modification of poses to support wherever your body is at.

  • How Often Should I Practice?

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer! Ideally, practicing multiple times per week brings the most benefits, but even once a week can create noticeable shifts in your body and mind. The key is consistency - find a rhythm that works for you.

  • What Is Yoga?

Yoga is more than just physical postures - it’s a holistic practice that unites the mind, body, and breath. According to Patanjali, the ancient Indian sage and scholar who wrote the Yoga Sutras, yoga is the practice of stilling the mind and separating the soul from material distractions. At its core, yoga asks us the question: “Who am I?” The more we practice, the deeper our understanding of ourselves becomes.

  • What class should I take?

We offer a variety of classes depending on what you may be interested or ready for. You can check out our class descriptions to decide what class you would like to start with.
