About the Facilitator – Crystal Star Ellis
Crystal Star Ellis is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher, Reiki II practitioner, and transformational guide who blends ancient wisdom with grounded modern tools to help students reconnect to their inner truth. With over 15 years of experience in movement, breathwork, and personal growth, she specializes in nervous system regulation, energy healing, and seasonal alignment practices.
Crystal teaches Kundalini Yoga as a path to deep awareness, clarity, and soul-centered empowerment. Her classes are accessible to all levels and designed to help students feel rooted, rejuvenated, and inspired - on and off the mat.

Marma Balancing Training
Ayurvedic treatments restore a sense of calm and balance to the body, nourishing the skin and connective tissue. Learn about specific energy points (marma) throughout the body. The treatment leaves the recipient feeling grounded, relaxed, and more balanced. It uses a very light and subtle touch to produce long-lasting effects.
Summary of workshop:
Participants will learn the basic theory of the tri-doshas and their gunas in application to bodywork
Participants will learn a flow through the major marma points of the body
Participants will learn about the specialty oils used for the body
Participants will learn the brief history and background of Ayurveda and the treatments
Learning objectives:
Perform a 50-minute full-body treatment
Explain the basic background of Ayurveda and the treatments for clients
Adjust treatment according to the doshic profile of the client
Come be nurtured and guided by skilled practitioners and enjoy ample hands-on practice time.

Ayurvedic head, face, hand and foot massage training
Ayurvedic massage restores a sense of calm and balance to the body while nourishing the skin and connective tissue. In this treatment, you’ll learn about specific energy points on the head, face, hands, and feet, and how to use oils and masks to create personalized, healing experiences. Beyond its benefits for the face and scalp, this therapy promotes a deep sense of groundedness and well-being that can last for days.

Ayurvedic Abhyanga Bodywork Training
Come be nurtured and guided by skilled practitioners as you learn ancient Ayurvedic treatments designed to cleanse, heal, and harmonize the body, mind, and spirit. Explore the techniques of the ancient Ayurvedic rejuvenation therapy, Abhyanga (also known as Snehana) - a traditional full-body oil treatment that uses warm, herbalized oils and rhythmic strokes to deeply nourish and restore the body.
The training also includes foundational Ayurvedic theory, the historical roots of massage, and ethics explored through the lens of both yoga and Ayurveda. You’ll also be introduced to the use of mantra, or sacred sound, as a tool for creating a calm, focused, and healing environment.
Summary of workshop:
Participants will learn the basic theory of the tri-doshas and their gunas in application to bodywork
Participants will learn a full-body Abhyanga treatment with oil
Participants will learn how to customize the treatment in balancing disturbed doshas
Participants will learn the importance of sacred sound for establishing a healing environment
Participants will learn about Ayurvedic oils used in the treatments
Participants will learn the brief history and background of Ayurveda and the treatment techniques
Participants will learn the technique of self-massage with oil
Learning objectives:
Perform a 40-minute full-body Abhyanga treatment with oil
Explain the basic background of Ayurveda and the treatments to their clients/students
Perform and teach Ayurvedic self-massage
Notes:
Oils are used throughout the training, so casual clothing is recommended. Old bathing suits or undergarments may be useful for practice sessions.
This program should meet the minimum two-hour ethics training requirement for massage therapists.
